We great sadness Goya Music Distribution is no more

My personal note about Goya music : As an amateur DJ and the ocassions that i had the privilege to play alongside Damon Bell from San Diego Ca. Own my personal opinion a great connoisseur of quality dance music and a great dj, I remember the times when we would go record shopping, he introduce me to the sounds of broken beat and i totally fell for that enigmatic sound which was again broken beat. At the time dowmtempo was my thing and i guess i was looking for something wicked and the man had it and he shared it with me Damon Bell i like to thank you for that !!!!
I am sad about the demise of Goya music , best thing about is that i still have some great record from them , And they are "Keepers"
Here is an article from Goya music
It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Goya Music Distribution is no more.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to survive the demise of vinyl sales and the onslaught of the digital age.
When we started this company 10 years ago, our remit was to “only distribute music we liked” -
and for a good few years we managed to release some great music. Sure, there were some turkeys in there,
but on the whole we are both very proud of Goya’s achievements.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people we have worked with along the way.
You have all had a hand in bringing some great music to the top of a very big pile.
Be you a producer or singer, a DJ or record label, a distributor or record shop – from all around the world we all managed to join as one. ……
you may not realize it or feel it, but anyone of you who has come into contact with Goya Music
has in some way been a part of the same family, with the same understanding, appreciation and commitment to the simple love of good music.
Peace
Mike and Spence
